Vintage Arthurian Tarot by Caitlín, John Matthews & Miranda Gray

The Arthurian Tarot invites you into a world steeped in legend, myth, and the enduring magic of Avalon. Rooted in the rich storytelling of the Arthurian tradition, this deck blends timeless tarot symbolism with the mystical landscapes, heroic figures, and spiritual teachings of Celtic lore. Each card feels like a doorway into an ancient realm where knights, priestesses, and sacred places whisper their wisdom to the seeker.

This particular copy is the original 1990s edition, identifiable by its classic white and black borders — a hallmark of the early Thorsons / HarperCollins publication. This vintage border style frames Miranda Gray’s artwork beautifully, giving the deck its distinctive old‑world charm and making it especially sought‑after by collectors. The cardstock and printing of this era carry a nostalgic feel that reflects the deck’s age and history, adding depth and character to readings.

Miranda Gray’s atmospheric illustrations bring Arthurian lore to life with reverence and mystery. The imagery carries the quiet magic of old forests, sacred lakes, and the pathways walked by Arthur, Merlin, and the Lady of the Lake. It’s a deck that encourages introspection, spiritual exploration, and a connection to the mythic threads woven through the human journey.

This secondhand copy is a true vintage treasure, showing gentle signs of age that add to its charm and authenticity. The cards and handbook are complete and well‑kept, along with the original box.
